The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Inpatient Unit at Czech Rehabilitation Hospital is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. The RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement effective treatment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities.
  • Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Education: Educate patients and their families about health management, rehabilitation processes, and discharge planning.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Safety: Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for patients' needs and preferences within the healthcare system.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance nursing skills.
Qualifications:
  • Active DOH, DHA, or MOH Registered Nurse license.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in rehabilitation, inpatient, or acute care is an advantage.
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
  • Fluency in Tagalog is mandatory.
