About the Role:
Join our team at Czech Rehabilitation Hospital (CRH) as an Endoscopy Nurse, providing specialized, age-appropriate care in the Endoscopy and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). You will collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and allied health teams to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and assist patients for endoscopy procedures.
Perform pre-procedure checks, IV administration, and assist during procedures.
Conduct post-procedure monitoring in PACU.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient confidentiality.
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Educate patients and families regarding procedures, pain management, and care plans.
Requirements:
Education & Licensure:
Registered Nurse (valid license in home country and DOH).
Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Competency in conscious and deep sedation.
Experience: Minimum 2 years hospital experience in endoscopy.
Skills:
Knowledge of endoscopy procedures and patient care protocols.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English & Arabic).
Ability to perform patient assessments, administer medications, and assist physicians.
Basic computer literacy.
Physical & Work Requirements:
Ability to work in high-stress environments and irregular hours, including on-call.
Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, lifting and moving patients/equipment safely.
