Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with accredited training in acupuncture therapy to join our integrative medical team. The ideal candidate will combine traditional nursing duties with specialized acupuncture treatments to promote holistic healing and patient wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial patient screenings and document medical histories.
- Assist in diagnosing patient conditions under physician supervision, with a focus on suitability for acupuncture.
- Administer acupuncture treatments safely, using sterile techniques and individualized protocols.
- Monitor patient responses to acupuncture and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Provide pre- and post-treatment patient education and support.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient treatment records.
- Collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, and other healthcare providers in integrated care plans.
- Manage clinical supplies related to acupuncture and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
- Participate in patient wellness initiatives and chronic disease management programs.
- Stay current on acupuncture techniques and nursing best practices through ongoing education.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Active RN license in [insert country/region].
- Certification or formal training in acupuncture from a recognized institution.
