We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will provide direct patient care, ensure a safe and effective treatment environment, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and practices.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and health history.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor patient progress and vital signs, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Provide wound care, assist with mobility, and manage pain control as required.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
- Document patient information and nursing interventions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and recovery.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure adherence to all hospital, state, and national healthcare regulations and standards.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to prevent the spread of infection.
- Report any changes in patient condition to the attending physician or healthcare team.
Patient Advocacy:
- Advocate for patients' rights and well-being, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate care.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during treatment and recovery.
Professional Development:
- Stay current with nursing practices and healthcare trends through continuing education and professional development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, patient care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.
Licensure & Certification:
