Key Responsibilities

Critical Care Duties

  1. Manage and treat critically ill patients in the ICU, including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring.
  2. Perform bedside procedures such as central line insertion, arterial line placement, and intubation.
  3. Collaborate with other specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans for ICU patients.
  4. Monitor and respond to changes in patients' conditions promptly.
  5. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and discussions regarding patient management.

Anesthesia Duties

  1. Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgeries, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures.
  2. Assess and prepare patients preoperatively, ensuring they are fit for anesthesia.
  3. Monitor and manage patient vital signs during procedures.
  4. Provide postoperative pain management and monitor recovery from anesthesia.
  5. Address complications arising from anesthesia or surgical procedures.
